Case study
Walking With The Wounded
Veterans' charity · Leadership cohort · In-person workshop + 1-2-1 follow-up
The challenge
At Walking With The Wounded, we are committed to empowering those who have served — and we know that to do this, we need a working environment that gives and builds safety, trust and autonomy for all our staff, not just those on the front line.
We recognise the role of our leaders in creating this environment and helping their teams to thrive. We understand the pressure leaders can face and wanted to invest in creating a space for them to communicate and develop.
Our approach
We asked People Champions to deliver a coaching workshop to a small group of our managers, in the belief that coaching is a highly effective way for our leaders to support their teams with agility — navigating the unique scenarios our clients face, as well as the future of our organisation as we continue to evolve.
The outcome
We had a great experience working with Duncan and Julia, who quickly developed a deep understanding of our veterans' charity. The workshop was fun and engaging, and the 1:1 coaching sessions delivered afterwards have been well received.
"I would gladly recommend their Leadership Coaching programme."
